Dr. Ben Phillips is a Chiropractor based in Beerwah, Queensland.
Growing up in Central Victoria, Dr. Ben made the move to Queensland in 2011. He relocated to the Sunshine Coast approximately 7 years ago, with an extended family connection to the region. Dr. Ben has completed his B.App.Sc. (Comp.Med.)(Chiro) in 2007 and his M.Clin.Chiro. in 2009 at RMIT. He has also completed the C.C.W.P. (Certified Chiropractic Wellness Professional) Certified Life Coach in 2019.
Dr. Ben discovered Chiropractic through his Mum- she trusted a friend’s recommendation for herself to resolve chronic back pain from pregnancy when Ben was 3 years old. She had tried other modalities with no success, and Chiropractic worked! This Chiropractor explained to Ben that he had a spine and nervous system too and that adjustments would be good for him no matter whether he was experiencing symptoms or not. From this experience, a lifetime of Chiropractic care began! Dr. Ben fell in love with the profession and decided it was his desired vocation because of an amazing family Chiropractor in his teen years.
Dr. Ben decided to become a Chiropractor due to inspiration from a mentor. Ben has always seen a Chiropractor and rarely other forms of healthcare – Chiropractic care was his “norm”. He also enjoys looking a the body-mind as a holistic entity and not necessarily following the status quo… choosing to ask questions and look at the world differently.
Dr. Ben is particularly passionate about vitalism and Chiropractic philosophy. He is also passionate about seeing the outcomes for people that occur beyond the resolution of MSK pain syndromes, as well as Chiropractic as a strategy to improve productivity, performance and well-being.
Dr. Ben has extensive Chiropractic experience working in Melbourne (Frankston), Innisfail, Mackay, Noosa, Alexandra Headlands, Mooloolah/Currimundi, and now Beerwah!
During his time off, Dr. Ben enjoys personal growth, reading, movies, bushwalking, cooking and connecting with friends.
