Conditions We See

Many people choose to see a chiropractor for pain relief

Whether you are a professional, work in construction or serve the local community as a school teacher, everyone is prone to experiencing pain. Pain is developed throughout various activities at work and home. While it’s easy to pass off conditions like headaches and neck pains as being temporary – or even tolerable – ailments, it’s incredibly important to seek treatment if your pain recurs or lasts for uncomfortably long periods of time.

At Total Health Chiropractic, we help people across Queensland, Victoria and South Australia who experience pain.

Back Pain

Back pain is the leading cause of workplace disability in Australia. Lower back pain is a common ailment presented at our practices. Patients experience one of two types of low back pain: acute and chronic.

Acute back pain can be caused by trauma, but can occur randomly without warning.

Chronic low back pain can be the result of muscular dysfunction or tension, postural abnormalities, disc herniations or pathologies and more.

Bulging Disc

Chiropractic can be a treatment option for patients with bulging disc. Gentle techniques may reduce symptoms and make the disc go back into position.

Note: relief can take time with this treatment approach and differs from person to person. A number of Chiropractic sessions may be required before you notice results. Your Chiropractor may also recommend other treatment options, such as spinal compression. Depending on how bad your condition is, surgery may be a more suitable option.
