Dr. Samuel Molkentin is a Chiropractor at Total Health Chiropractic Brendale who was first introduced to chiropractic as a patient after experiencing general back pain from playing sport throughout his life. While there was no single defining moment that led him to the profession, he was drawn to chiropractic because it seemed like something he would genuinely enjoy and found the hands-on nature of care particularly appealing.
Samuel has always been passionate about helping people. He originally began studying exercise physiology before realising he wanted a more hands-on approach to healthcare, which ultimately led him to pursue chiropractic. He grew up in Penrith, New South Wales, before moving to Queensland with his family in 2010. He completed his chiropractic studies at CQUniversity.
What Samuel enjoys most about practice is seeing improvements in people’s quality of life. He finds it incredibly rewarding to help patients reclaim their health and get back to doing the things they enjoy. Having played sport his entire life, he has a particular interest in working with athletes and active individuals.
Patients often comment on Samuel’s thorough approach and his willingness to take the time to listen. He believes understanding each person’s concerns and goals is an important part of providing individualised care and helping patients achieve the best possible outcomes.
Outside of practice, Samuel is a passionate sports fan. He plays football (soccer) and enjoys watching it whenever he can. If he’s not watching football, you’ll likely find him following the AFL, training at the gym, or spending time with his partner and their two dachshunds.
Most people are surprised to learn that Samuel has aphantasia, meaning he cannot voluntarily visualise mental images. He is a coffee drinker, has become more of a morning person over the years, enjoys the mountains and hinterland, and loves staying active through sport.
Dr. Samuel Molkentin consults at Total Health Chiropractic Brendale on Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays, as well as Wednesday evenings.
