Dr. Kodie Smith is a Chiropractor based in Ballarat.

From Talbot in rural Victoria, Dr. Kodie completed her Bachelor of Allied Health (Chiropractic) and Bachelor of Health Sciences with Distinction at RMIT in Melbourne. Kodie has been part of the Total Health team since 2021, initially based at our Torquay practice.

Dr. Kodie decided to become a Chiropractor so she could connect with and assist others to unlock and achieve their body’s optimal health/wellness and truly discover their life purpose without the interference of suffering.

Growing up in a small rural town on a large property with a very large farming family sparked Dr. Kodie’s desire to work with the entire family dynamic. She strives to enable everyone (kids to grandparents) to thrive throughout their entire life. She is also very passionate about assisting expecting mothers through conception and pre/post pregnancy as well as assisting babies and children to grow and develop with a healthy nervous system.

Dr. Kodie discovered Chiropractic without realising it at first, unknowingly treated by a Chiropractor for growing pains, physical and emotional trauma. Years later a Chiropractor and mentor helped Dr. Kodie rediscover Chiropractic by assisting her with migraines and menstrual pains. Through this she aligned her values of caring and helping others with the philosophy that is Chiropractic and wished for everyone to experience what she had herself.

During her time off, you will find Dr.  Kodie in a pair of blundstone boots riding the motorbike around the family property with her kelpie dogs Mia and Atlas, or at the gym/netball court with her friends.
