Carissa Te Wharau is a Chiropractor based in Rockhampton.

From Hamilton, New Zealand, Dr. Carissa completed her Chiropractic studies at the New Zealand College of Chiropractic.

Carissa discovered Chiropractic through sport. She played a lot of sport and experienced a few injuries that never got better. Chiropractic dramatically helped with recovering from these injuries and improved her performance. Dr. Carissa chose to become a Chiropractor after being inspired by her Chiropractor in New Zealand, wanting to help others as he had helped her. She is passionate about helping babies and kids in particular.

When not in practice, Carissa enjoys playing sport, hiking and going to the beach!
